Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Schedule Revised Again. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has once again revised the schedule for Round 1 of Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses.
The latest revision has been issued in compliance with the directions of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi, following the extension of the counselling schedule for the first round of UG State Counselling 2026. The updated schedule applies to State Quota, All India Quota and NRI Quota seats, wherever applicable.

JCECEB has clarified that online registration, choice filling and editing of filled-up choices, if required, will continue simultaneously on August 25, 2026.
All India Quota – MBBS
The revised schedule also applies to Round 1 counselling for All India seats in MBBS at participating institutions, including:
- Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College & Hospital, Palamu
- Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital, Seraikela-Kharsawan
- Sido Kanhu Medical College & Hospital, Dumka
- Birsa Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Khunti

Round 1 Registration and Choice Filling Extended
Candidates participating in Round 1 counselling now have until August 25, 2026 to complete their online registration and choice filling.
Candidates who have already submitted their choices can also use the editing facility on August 25, if they need to make changes to their filled-up choices.
Candidates are advised to carefully review their preferences and ensure that the final choices are submitted within the revised deadline.
Seat Allotment and Admission Dates Revised
The Round 1 seat allotment and downloading of provisional seat allotment letters will now be conducted from August 27 to September 5, 2026.
Candidates allotted seats will have to report to their respective institutes for document verification and admission from August 28 to September 5, 2026.
Candidates should carry all required original documents and complete the admission formalities within the prescribed timeline.
BHMS Seat Details Yet to Be Received
The JCECEB notification also states that the seat details for BHMS courses have not yet been received from the Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare Department, Government of Jharkhand.
The Board has stated that recommendations for BHMS seats will be made as soon as the relevant seat details are received, based on the NEET UG counselling schedule.
Disability Certificates for RIMS
The Government of Jharkhand has authorised Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Ranchi to issue disability certificates for admission to MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses for the current session 2026–27.
Candidates requiring disability certification should follow the applicable instructions issued by the concerned authorities.
Further Counselling Rounds
The notification further states that the revised schedule for the second, third and stray vacancy rounds of online counselling will be issued separately in accordance with directions received from the Medical Counselling Committee for State Counselling.
