Important Rules for Candidates Already Allotted Seats

Candidates who have already joined a seat allotted during Round 1 or Round 2 will retain their existing seat unless they receive an upgraded seat according to their choices in Round 3.

However, candidates participating in Round 3 must submit their fresh choices in order of preference for the seats they wish to upgrade to.

Candidates who have deposited the security amount in Round 2 but were not allotted any seat will not have to deposit the security amount again for Round 3.

Candidates who have been allotted and joined a seat in the All India Quota/Any State up to Round 3 of counselling will not be eligible to participate in further state counselling.

What Happens If a Candidate Does Not Join the Round 3 Seat?

The notice contains an important condition regarding candidates who receive a seat in Round 3.

If a candidate is allotted a seat according to their preference in Round 3 but does not join the allotted seat, the deposited security amount will be forfeited, and the candidate will not be eligible to participate in any further counselling round.

Similarly, once a candidate joins the allotted seat in Round 3, the candidate cannot surrender/resign from that seat or participate in further counselling.

Choices Filled in Earlier Rounds

UHSR has clarified that the choices filled by candidates during Round 1 and Round 2 will be treated as null and void for Round 3.

Candidates participating in Round 3 must therefore submit their choices afresh.

This is particularly important for candidates who have already joined a seat and are participating in Round 3 for upgradation.

Seat Conversion Rules

The notice also refers to the Haryana Government’s applicable reservation policy for filling vacant seats.

After exhaustion of the merit list of candidates who applied under various reserved categories, vacant seats may be reverted to their original category as per the State Reservation Policy and subsequently filled according to merit after conversion.

The notice states that such seats may be filled in the 3rd round itself for both Government and Private Institutes, subject to the applicable rules.

Tuition Fee Payment and Document Verification

Candidates who receive a provisional seat allotment must deposit the provisional tuition fee online through the admission web portal between October 12 and October 14, 2026, up to 11:00 PM.

After successful fee payment, candidates must appear for physical document verification at Sushruta Auditorium, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak

The document verification will be conducted on October 15 and October 16, 2026, from 9:00 AM onwards.

Candidates who successfully complete document verification can download their provisional admission letter between October 15 and October 17, 2026.

Final Reporting Deadline

Candidates allotted seats in Round 3 must complete joining/reporting at their respective allotted institutes by October 17, 2026, up to 4:00 PM.

Failure to complete the admission formalities within the prescribed timeline may result in loss of the allotted seat as per the applicable counselling rules.
