Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has issued a notice regarding the cancellation of provisional seat allotments made in Round 1 and Round 2 of UK NEET UG 2026 Uttarakhand State Centralized Counselling.
According to the notice, provisional seats were allotted to candidates in the first and second rounds based on their merit, choices/preferences and claims regarding domicile, category and sub-category. During the admission process, the concerned institutions and District Magistrates verified the domicile, category and sub-category certificates of the candidates.
Based on the verification reports received from the respective districts, the provisional seat allotments of 15 candidates mentioned in the notice have been cancelled. The university has stated that the candidates whose details are listed in the notice will have no claim over the provisionally allotted seats.

Why Were the Provisional Allotments Cancelled?
The notice explains that the provisional seat allotments were made based on candidates’ merit, submitted choices/preferences and claims related to domicile, category and sub-category.
As part of the admission process, these certificates were verified through the Principals of the respective institutions and the concerned District Magistrates. Following receipt of the verification reports from the districts, the provisional allotments of the candidates listed in the notice were cancelled.
The notice further makes it clear that the candidates listed in the cancellation order will have no claim over the provisionally allotted seats.

HNBUMU has stated that, upon receiving verification reports from the District Magistrates regarding the domicile, category and sub-category certificates of candidates, the list of cancelled provisional allotments will be uploaded on the counselling platform from time to time.
