Tripura NEET Counselling Registration Process

Here's how to register for Tripura NEET Counselling 2026 on the official TRMCC portal:

  1. Visit trmcc.admissions.nic.in once the portal opens as per the Educational Notification.
  2. Register using the same information and documents submitted during your NEET UG 2026 application, this data is pre-populated from the NTA portal and cannot be changed later.
  3. Pay the applicable Registration Fee online based on your category (General/OBC-NCL, General-EWS, or SC/ST/PwD/Other).
  4. Pay the mandatory Security Deposit required from Round 1 onwards for every candidate, based on whether you're seeking a Government College seat or a Non-Government/mixed college seat.
  5. Complete your registration before the notified deadline, registration is mandatory in every round (Round 1, 2, 3, and Stray Vacancy) for candidates who haven't already registered in an earlier round.
  6. Submit an Undertaking (for State Quota applicants) declaring that you are applying only for Tripura's State Quota/Domicile seat and have not applied for domicile seats of any other state.
  7. Keep checking trmcc.admissions.nic.in regularly, no individual communication or call letter is sent to any candidate.

Tripura NEET Counselling Choice Filling

Once registration and the merit list are complete, here's how choice filling works in Tripura:

  • Log in to the TRMCC portal using your registered credentials during the notified choice-filling window.
  • Fill in your preferred colleges and courses (MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMS/BASLP, as applicable) in the order you actually want them, allotment strictly follows this order of preference against your merit position and category.
  • Seats are distributed from the common Merit List as per the Tripura State Reservation Policy, based on availability at the time of choice filling.
  • If you're allotted a seat in Round 1 but not satisfied, there's a free exit, you don't have to join, and you can register for Round 2. However, if you want to retain your Round 1 seat while also trying to upgrade in Round 2, you must physically join the Round 1 college first and indicate "willingness for upgradation."
  • Once upgraded to a Round 2 or Round 3 seat, your earlier seat is automatically cancelled and given to another candidate, so fill in only choices you'd genuinely prefer over your current allotment.
  • A candidate allotted a Round 3 seat and who joins cannot upgrade or resign thereafter.

Tripura NEET Counselling 2026 Documents Required

  • Passport-size photographs and signature, as per the specified format

Tripura NEET Counselling Seat Allotment Process

  • Seats are distributed from the common Tripura State Merit List, based strictly on NEET UG rank, eligibility, reservation category, and the choices filled by the candidate.
  • The process runs through Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, and a Stray Vacancy Round, with fresh registration allowed in each round for candidates who haven't registered earlier.
  • Free exit is available after Round 1, a candidate need not join the allotted college and can register afresh for Round 2 without penalty, provided they haven't already deposited the security deposit against that seat.
  • From Round 2 onwards, exiting/not joining leads to forfeiture of the Security Deposit; from Round 3 onwards, not joining leads to forfeiture with elimination (the candidate cannot participate in further rounds); and in the Stray Vacancy Round, non-compliance can lead to a 1-year debarment from NEET Examination.
  • A candidate allotted a seat in Round 2 can upgrade in Round 3 but cannot resign once admitted; a candidate allotted and admitted to a Round 3 seat cannot upgrade or resign at all.
  • No waiting list is maintained at any stage, fresh counselling is held for each subsequent round based on seats available at that time.
  • No separate call letter is issued to any candidate; all communication is only through the TRMCC website.
  • Admission is subject to physical verification of original documents; any forged, tampered, or illegible documents found at any stage lead to cancellation of allotment/nomination/admission, which may be processed further as per law.
