The date range for registration for Round 2 is from 16th September 2025 (10:00 A.M.) to 18th September 2025 (05:00 P.M.). This round is available for candidates who either were not allocated a seat in the first round, did not join the college allocated to them or want to process an upgrade from Round 1.

Candidates must be sure to register online for the counselling, pay for the counselling fees, and go through the process of choice filling and choice locking. After completing your registration, candidates should go through the seat matrix and complete the choices in the order they would like the colleges since this will determine where the candidate is allotted a seat.

Round 2 is usually seen as a golden opportunity for candidates. Many seats become available through withdrawals, upgradations or resignations to Round 1. If candidates miss registering, they could lose out on a chance for a seat for the 2025-26 session.
