Seat allotment in MP NEET PG Counselling 2025 is conducted through a fully computerized process based on candidates’ NEET PG merit, preferences, reservation rules, and available vacancies.
Round 1 Seat Allotment
- Seats are allotted by matching candidates’ filled choices with the available vacancies as per rank.
- An official allotment order is issued for the allotted course, specialty, and college.
Round 2 Seat Allotment

Resignation from Admission
- Candidates admitted in Round 1 or Round 2 may resign at any time up to the completion of Round 2.
- On resignation, the candidate’s registration shall automatically stand cancelled, and they will not be eligible to participate in the further admission process.
- In case of cancellation of admission, the admission fee will be refunded to the candidate’s bank account after prescribed deductions, within the timeline specified in the admission calendar.
Madhya Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2025 Bond Policy
Madhya Pradesh requests that candidates enrolling in postgraduate medical programs, particularly for government institutions, agree to specific service bonds/penalty clauses to ensure a supply of trained specialists in the state.
- Candidates who relinquish their seat after the time permitted, do not complete their program, or are kicked out of the program, will be precluded from PG access for 2 years.
- Bond terms must be followed strictly; violation leads to full recovery of bond amount as a lump sum.
- Candidates may clear the bond anytime by paying the prescribed bond amount to the authority designated by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME).
- For government colleges, leaving the course late may incur heavy financial penalties, as per updated MP bond rules.
- Bond conditions apply to ensure that postgraduate doctors serve the state healthcare system for a mandated period after course completion.
Madhya Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2025 – Reservation Policy
Madhya Pradesh implements a systematic reservation policy for NEET PG admissions to state quota seats in the form of category-wise and sub-category (vertical & horizontal) reservations.
Important Information
- The category-wise (Vertical) Reservation Policy shall be as per state guidelines in regards to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, UR categories as mentioned in Schedule-2.
- Creamy layer OBC will not have the benefit of reservation in OBC categories.
- In case the eligible candidates from SC/ST/OBC category are not found available in Round 2:
- The reservations will relax by respective stepwise relaxation allowing conversion (ST → SC → OBC → UR or so).
- Horizontal Reservation will apply in all categories for:
- Women, Dependent of Freedom Fighter, Ex-serviceman, PwD candidates, and NRI quota(as per latest development).
- In the mop-up round, any unfilled category or sub-category seats may be converted to Unreserved (UR) when eligible candidates are not available.
