Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has issued a revised schedule for the submission of online applications for preparation of the State Merit List based on NEET (UG)-2026 results and the first round of online counselling for admission to MBBS, BDS and B.H.M.S./B.Sc. courses under the State Quota seats.
As per the revised notification dated August 11, 2026, the schedule for submission and editing of applications for the State Merit List has been revised. However, most of the dates for the Round 1 counselling process remain unchanged.

State Merit List Application Process Revised
Under the revised schedule, candidates will be able to submit the online application form for preparation of the State Merit List on August 13, 2026, from 6:00 PM to midnight. The facility for editing the application form by registered candidates will also be available during the same period.
The State Merit List based on NEET UG 2026 results is scheduled to be published on August 14, 2026.
Round 1 Registration and Choice Filling
Following the publication of the merit list, the Round 1 online registration and choice-filling process will begin on August 14, 2026. Candidates can complete their registration and submit their choices up to August 19, 2026.
The facility to make changes to filled choices, if required, will be available on August 20, 2026.
Seat Allotment and Admission
The Round 1 seat allotment is scheduled to be conducted from August 22 to August 28, 2026, during which candidates will also be able to download their provisional seat allotment letters.
Candidates allotted seats will have to complete document verification and admission at the concerned institute between August 23 and August 28, 2026.
JCECEB has clarified that the revised dates supersede the corresponding dates mentioned in the earlier notification. Other terms and conditions of the counselling process will remain unchanged.
