BDS Round 3 Allotment Status

Like the medical list, the dental provisional allotment list uses three major status descriptions:

  • Newly Allotted: A seat has been allotted to the candidate in Round 3.
  • Upgraded: The candidate has received an upgraded seat compared with the previous allotment.
  • Not Upgraded: The candidate’s existing allotment has not been upgraded in Round 3.

The document contains examples of all three statuses, including newly allotted and upgraded BDS seats at several dental colleges.

Course Fees Mentioned in the Allotment Lists

The allotment documents also display the course fee corresponding to each allotted seat.

For MBBS, the list contains different fee figures depending on the course and seat category. For example, several government MBBS seats show a course fee of Rs.64,350, while some institutions have higher fee figures.

For BDS, examples in the list include government seats with fees of Rs.49,350 and other seats with fees of Rs.95,308, while certain private seats carry substantially different fees.

Candidates should therefore refer to their individual allotment details for the applicable course fee rather than relying on a single fee figure.
