What Does the Round 3 Final Result Show?

The Round 3 allotment document provides a consolidated candidate-wise record. For each candidate, it shows relevant details from Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3, allowing candidates to see whether their seat was retained, upgraded or changed in the third round. The file includes several Round 3 outcomes, such as:

  • Fresh Allotted in 3rd Round
  • Upgraded
  • Retained
  • Not Allotted
  • Seat Surrendered
  • Did not opt for Upgradation
  • Did not fill up fresh choices

For example, the document records fresh Round 3 MBBS allotments at institutions including AIIMS Jammu, AIIMS Raebareli, AIIMS Deogarh, Government Medical College, Jagtial, Government Medical College, Kamareddy and other institutions.

The result also includes BDS and B.Sc. Nursing allotments. For instance, the document records fresh BDS allotments at dental colleges and fresh B.Sc. Nursing allotments at institutions such as the College of Nursing RAK CON, New Delhi and other nursing colleges.

Candidates With Upgraded Seats

Candidates who participated in Round 3 for upgradation can see their previous and newly allotted institutions in the result.

The allotment document includes several cases where candidates were upgraded to another institution. For example, some MBBS candidates moved from their Round 1 or Round 2 institutions to colleges such as AIIMS Raebareli, AIIMS Jammu, AIIMS Rewari and other medical colleges.

Candidates should carefully check the Round 3 column in their allotment record to identify whether their status is shown as fresh allotment, upgrade or retention.

Important Instruction for Candidates With Changed Category or Quota

The allotment file contains a specific instruction for candidates whose category or quota has changed in the same institution and subject.

Such candidates are required to obtain an online-generated relieving letter and complete admission against the changed category or quota seat at the allotted institution. They must also obtain a fresh online-generated admission letter for the changed category or quota seat. The document states that failure to complete this process may result in cancellation of the allotted seat due to non-admission.

Candidates should therefore carefully compare their previous allotment with the Round 3 allotment before completing the admission process.

MBBS, BDS and B.Sc. Nursing Seats Included

The allotment document contains programmes under the following programme abbreviations:

  • MBBS – Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
  • BDS – Bachelor of Dental Surgery
  • BSCN – B.Sc. Nursing

The first page of the document also provides the quota and category abbreviations used throughout the allotment list. These include Open Seat Quota, All India, Self-Financed Merit Seat, NRI and several institutional or category-specific quotas.

Candidates should carefully verify:

  1. NEET rank
  2. Round 3 allotted institution
  3. Course
