According to the MCC notice, candidates must carefully check their provisional allotment result. If there is any discrepancy in the result, candidates can raise it through the “Candidates Grievances and Query Redressal System” available on the Candidate Login Portal. The deadline to report any discrepancy is 10:00 AM on 1 October 2026.

MCC has also clarified that the Round 3 result is provisional and indicative in nature. Therefore, candidates cannot claim any right over a seat shown in the provisional result, and the provisional result cannot be challenged before a court of law. Candidates have been advised to approach their allotted college or institute only after the declaration of the Final Result.

The provisional allotment document contains candidate-wise details covering Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3 allotments, including allotted quota, institute, course, category and remarks. The document includes MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing allotment records.

Candidates whose category or quota has changed within the same institution and subject have been specifically instructed to obtain the online-generated relieving letter and complete admission against the changed category or quota seat. They must also obtain a fresh online-generated admission letter for the changed category or quota; otherwise, the allotted seat may be cancelled due to non-admission.

The provisional result also contains different allotment remarks, including “Fresh Allotted in 3nd Round,” “Upgraded,” “Retained,” “Seat Surrendered,” “Not Allotted,” and cases where candidates did not fill fresh choices or did not opt for upgradation.

Candidates are therefore advised to log in to the MCC portal, check their Round 3 provisional allotment carefully and raise any discrepancy within the specified deadline. The final Round 3 result should be considered for further admission-related action.
