Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has commenced the Under Graduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) 2026 process for admission to MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., and B.F.Sc. courses in Government and Private colleges across Bihar. The Board has invited NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates to register online, submit their application forms, and fill their college choices for Round 1 and Round 2 counselling. Along with the notification, BCECEB has also published the seat matrix, counselling schedule, registration fee, security deposit details, and admission guidelines.
Admissions will be granted strictly on the basis of the NEET UG 2026 merit list prepared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and the merit list/rank generated under UGMAC 2026.

Counselling Process
UGMAC 2026 counselling will be conducted entirely online. The admission process includes:
- Online Registration
- Application Form Submission
- Payment of Counselling Fee and Security Deposit
- Choice Filling and Locking
- Publication of Rank Card
- Online Seat Allotment
- Online Document Verification
- Physical Reporting at the Allotted Institute
The Board has notified that four rounds of online counselling will be conducted. The schedule for the subsequent rounds will be announced separately.
Important Guidelines
- Only NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates are eligible to participate.
- Candidates should review the published seat matrix before filling their preferences.
- Registration, application submission, and fee payment must be completed within the notified timeline.
- The counselling fee is non-refundable, while the security deposit will be refunded as per the counselling rules.
- NRI candidates must upload all required documents prescribed by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) while applying for the NRI quota.
- Candidates claiming Disability Quota (DQ) or other reservation categories must upload the prescribed certificates in the required format.
- After filling preferences, candidates must lock their choices before the deadline. If choices are not locked manually, they will be automatically locked after the choice filling period ends.
- Candidates allotted a seat in Round 1 will have the option to Freeze or Float their allotment as per the counselling rules.
- BCECEB has advised candidates to complete the registration process well before the deadline to avoid payment failures or last-minute technical issues.
