Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has revised the schedule for Round 1 of Jharkhand NEET UG Counselling 2026 for admission to MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses under State, All India and NRI quota seats.
The revised schedule has been issued due to a technical glitch in the server. The notification dated August 19, 2026, states that the changes apply to the Round 1 online counselling process for the respective quota seats.

JCECEB has clarified that online registration, choice filling and editing of filled-up choices, if required, will continue simultaneously on August 21, 2026.

The revised schedule also applies to Round 1 online counselling for All India seats in MBBS at participating private medical colleges, including Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College & Hospital, Palamu; Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital, Seraikela-Kharsawan; Sido Kanhu Medical College & Hospital, Dumka; and Birsa Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Khunti.

Candidates Who Already Paid the Counselling Fee Need Not Pay Again
JCECEB has clarified that candidates who have already registered and paid the online counselling fee and security deposit do not have to make the payment again for Round 1 choice filling.
However, such candidates are required to re-register once on the Online Choice Filling Portal to participate in the Round 1 choice-filling process.
Candidates are advised to complete the required re-registration and choice-filling process within the revised deadline.
