Sikkim Manipal Institute of Medical Sciences (SMIMS) has released the online counselling schedule for the Stray Round of MBBS Admission 2026. The schedule, dated 13 October 2026, outlines the dates for choice filling, seat allotment processing, result declaration, fee payment and physical reporting.
According to the notification, the stray-round choice-filling process will take place on 14 October 2026, followed by seat allotment processing on 15 October. The result will be published online on 18 October 2026.

Important Dates and Instructions
The counselling process will begin with online choice filling on 14 October 2026, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The online forms will be scrutinised by the Counselling Committee, chaired by the Chairperson from the Government of Sikkim, on 15 October 2026.
The seat allotment result will be published online on 18 October 2026. Candidates who receive an allotment must complete fee payment during the period specified in the schedule and report physically to the allotted institute by 26 October 2026.
Seat Allotment Is Provisional
SMIMS has clarified that the seat allotment is provisional. It will be confirmed only after candidates physically report and their documents undergo physical verification.
Candidates should follow the published schedule carefully and complete all required formalities within the prescribed deadlines.
