Telangana NEET Counselling 2026 is the state-level admission process for MBBS and BDS courses in Telangana’s government and private medical/dental colleges. It is conducted by the Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Telangana, Warangal, the state’s designated conducting authority, through its official website knruhs.telangana.gov.in.

Admission to 85% of seats in Government Medical/Dental Colleges (State Quota, called “Competent Authority Quota” in Telangana) is handled by KNRUHS, while the remaining 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats are counselled separately by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Both processes admit only candidates who have qualified NEET UG 2026, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Since the original NEET UG 2026 exam held on 3 May 2026 was cancelled and a Re-NEET exam was conducted on 21 June 2026, this year’s Telangana counselling schedule is running later than usual, on 23 July 2026, KNRUHS has confirmed it will issue its Competent Authority Quota notification shortly, inviting online applications from NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates for MBBS/BDS admission for the 2026-27 academic year.

- Special/Horizontal Reservation Counselling: Separate consideration for CAP (Children of Armed Personnel), Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Police Martyrs' Children (PMC), Anglo-Indian candidates (1 BDS seat), and children of Singareni Collieries employees (at GMC Ramagundam).
