Delhi NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 is an essential opportunity for all candidates who qualified NEET UG 2025 and wish to take admission in MBBS courses through GGSIP University for the session 2025-26. Admission in Round 3 will be based exclusively on NEET UG 2025 All India Rank (AIR) and merit based on the qualifying percentile.

Candidates that registered for previous rounds or paid the application fee will have to check the General Important Instructions regarding seat allotment for reserved categories and indicative verification of documents process both are available in GGSIP University site. Round 3 provides candidates the opportunity to modify your application form details including Category, Sub-Category and Region (Delhi or Outside Delhi), among others items like uploading educational testimonials, reserved category certificates, and NEET UG 2025 score card.

Candidates could register and fill their choices in Round 3 which began on 06-10-2025  at 4:00 PM and will end on 12-10-2025 11:59 PM. Round 3 result would be declared on 13-10-2025, and a candidate who got allotted a seat must pay part academic fee, print provisional seat allotment and must report to the allotted college for admission process. Candidates must be very cautious in exercising their options because withdrawal after admission in Round 3 is not permitted.

Withdrawal or resignation after completion of Round 3 will not be permitted, and participation in any subsequent counselling will be disallowed. Important Instructions for Candidates – Delhi NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3

Candidates for Round 3 of the Delhi NEET Counselling process will need to adhere to the instructions carefully in order to allow their smooth participation and avoid disqualification. The following important points are shared by GGSIP University:

Conversion of seats in Round 3:

  • The conversion of reserved category seats will be done only as long as there are eligible candidates belonging to that category. 
  • This is to ensure vacant seats will be given to other eligible candidates according to merit and category.

Eligibility for registration in Round 3:

  • Candidates registered in Round 1 or Round 2 but did not get a seat allotted do not need to register again. 
  • Candidates who have not registered in Round 1 or Round 2 or who withdrew from or did not report to their allotment in the rounds will be able to register afresh for Round 3.

New candidates will have to pay the full registration fee and fully complete the application process.

Choice Filling and locking

  • For the candidates to Round 3, they will need to exercise fresh choices for colleges and courses as per their preference. 
  • The choice will need to be locked and cannot be edited. If the candidates do not lock the choice themselves, the system will do it for them at the end of the process.

Processing and Publication of Results

  • Round 3 results will be processed and published online.
  • Candidates must download the allotment letter from the official portal.

Reporting at Allotted College

  • Candidates allotted a seat in Round 3 must report physically with original documents at the respective college.
  • Candidates upgraded from Round 2 must take relieving from the previous seat and join the new Round 3 seat. Once joined, upgrading or resigning is not permitted.
  • Failure to report at the allotted college will lead to forfeiture of deposited fees and elimination from further rounds.

Delhi Quota Eligibility

  • The students should have passed Class XI and Class XII from a recognized school/college in Delhi to be eligible for the MBBS seats (Delhi quota).
  • Candidates will be required to upload both Class XI marksheet and Class XII marksheet as a single PDF during the registration process. 

Service Bond and Minimum Cut-Off

  • Candidates shall be bound to comply with the compulsory service bond (as per University notification) for MBBS admissions.
  • Candidates will be required to fulfil the minimum required NEET UG 2025 cut-off in percentile and required score as per NMC/DCI/NCISM.

Mandatory Document Uploads

Candidates must upload:

  • Class XII / qualifying examination marksheet.
  • Valid reserved category certificates (if applicable).

Missing or invalid documents can jeopardize the claimed seat.

Result Awaited Candidates

  • Candidates awaiting results due to non-declaration of their final year/final semester exam may be provisionally considered.
  • Candidates with compartmental results in the qualifying examination will not be considered for admission.

Q. Who can participate in Round 3 of Delhi NEET Counselling?

A. Candidates who had registered in Round 1 or in Round 2 but did not get any seat allocated are automatically eligible. Fresh registration will be allowed for candidates who have not registered in earlier rounds or who voluntarily resigned or did not join during earlier allotments.

Q. Do I have to register once again if I had already participated in Delhi NEET Counselling Round 1 or Round 2?

A. Candidates who were allocated a seat but did not join, or who did not receive an allocation in the prior rounds, do not have to register every round, but instead, need to login during the Round 3 registration short period to confirm participation.

Q. Can I fill fresh choices in Delhi NEET Counselling Round 3?

A. All candidates who are participating in Round 3 will have to fill fresh choices of colleges and courses in order of preference. All participating candidates prior to Round 3, will have to fill out new choices of colleges and courses in ordered preference. All selections of choices must be locked by the deadline.

Q. What happens if I do not lock my Delhi NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 choices before the deadline?

A. If you do not manually lock your choices, the system will automatically lock your college and course choices at the conclusion of the scheduled deadline, meaning that you will not be permitted to changes your choices because the time has expired.

Q. What is the next step after the Delhi NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 seat allotment?

A. Once the seat is allotted, candidates will have to download the allotment letter and report to the allotted college in person with their original documents. A part of the academic fee should be paid and documents must be submitted in order to confirm the seat allotment. 

Q. If a seat is already allotted to me in Round 2 of Delhi NEET Counselling 2025, can I upgrade my seat?

A. Candidates can apply for an upgradation if they have been allotted a seat in Round 2. If they upgrade their seat, they must take a relieving from the eligibility of Round 2 and join the newly allotted seat in Round 3. Once candidates join their seat in Round 3, they cannot upgrade or relieve from the seat. 

Q. Who is eligible for Delhi quota MBBS seats?

A. Candidates must be eligible if they have studied Class X (i.e. 10th Grade) and Class XII (i.e. 12th Grade) in Delhi from an accredited school/college. Candidates must upload Class XI and XII marksheets together in a single PDF file while filling up the registration form.
