Important Instructions for Candidates
1. Only shortlisted candidates are eligible. Candidates must have their names in the Provisional Final Merit List under the NCC category published on October 8, 2026.
2. Prioritise college choices carefully. The university advises eligible candidates to exercise web options for all colleges where NCC seats are earmarked. There is no limit on the number of web options, so candidates may list all eligible colleges in their preferred order.
3. Submitting options does not guarantee admission. Merely exercising web options does not automatically confer a right to an MBBS seat.
4. Candidates who used the Free Exit facility are ineligible. Such candidates cannot exercise web options under this notification.
5. Existing candidates should review their choices carefully. Candidates continuing in an MBBS seat under Phase I or Phase II should select only colleges they consider better than their current allotment. The existing college may appear as the default last option in the portal.
6. Upgradation can cancel the existing seat. If a candidate is upgraded under this NCC counselling, the previously joined seat will be cancelled automatically and may be added to the Phase III general counselling seat matrix. Candidates upgraded through this process cannot claim their previous seat.
7. Ineligible allotments may be cancelled. If a candidate is found ineligible after allotment, the allotment will be cancelled without notice, according to the notification.
