Centralised Admission Committee (CENTAC), Puducherry, has extended the last date for submitting online applications for UG NEET-based courses for the Academic Year 2026–27. As per the latest notification, candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BV.Sc. & A.H. (National Self-Supporting & NRI) courses can now complete their online application until 8 August 2026 (5:00 PM). The committee has clarified that no further extension will be granted after this deadline.
Candidates who are yet to receive their renewed certificates may upload their existing (old) certificates to complete the application before the deadline. However, they must submit the renewed certificates before the publication of the Final Merit List.

Candidates Awaiting Renewed Certificates
CENTAC has provided relief to candidates who have applied for renewal of their certificates but have not yet received them. Such candidates can:
- Upload their old/previous certificates while submitting the application.
- Complete the application process on or before 8 August 2026 (5:00 PM).
- Submit the renewed certificates later through the prescribed process before the Final Merit List is published.
Important Instructions for Applicants
CENTAC has also issued the following important instructions for candidates:
- Candidates who already completed and submitted their application before 6 August 2026 (5:00 PM) cannot edit or modify their application details, as the Edit option has been closed and the submitted data has been frozen.
- Such candidates may still upload any additional or renewed certificates through the Grievance option available in their candidate dashboard.
- Candidates should not submit a duplicate application to make corrections or modifications.
- Any request for correction or modification must be submitted only through the Grievance option before the publication of the Final Merit List.
How to Apply
Candidates who have not yet completed their application should follow these steps:
- Visit the official CENTAC Puducherry admission portal.
- Log in using their candidate credentials.
- Complete the pending application details before 8 August 2026 (5:00 PM).
- Upload the required documents. If renewed certificates are not available, upload the existing certificates.
- Submit renewed certificates later through the Grievance option after they are issued and before the Final Merit List is released.

Candidates aspiring for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, and BV.Sc. & A.H. courses in Puducherry are advised to make use of the extended application window and complete all formalities well before the deadline. Since CENTAC has clearly stated that no further extension will be provided, applicants should avoid waiting until the last day to prevent last-minute technical issues.
