Himachal Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2026 schedule has been released with important dates for online application, merit lists, choice filling, seat allocation and joining at the allotted colleges. The counselling process will be conducted in multiple rounds, followed by a Stray Round to fill any remaining vacant seats.
As per the schedule, candidates can submit the online counselling application form from August 13 to 17, 2026. The provisional merit list will be displayed on August 18, followed by the final merit list on August 19, 2026.

Round 1 Counselling
The first round will begin with online application submission from August 13 to 17, 2026. The provisional and final merit lists will be published on August 18 and 19, respectively. Eligible candidates will then fill their preferred courses, colleges and quotas from August 21 to 23.
The provisional seat allocation is scheduled for August 25, while the final seat allocation will be released on August 26, 2026. Candidates allotted seats will have to join their respective colleges on August 28 or 29, 2026.
Round 2 Counselling
Fresh online applications for the second round are scheduled from August 31 to September 2, 2026. The provisional merit list will be published on September 3, followed by the final merit list on September 5.
Candidates will be able to fill their preferences from September 6 to 8, 2026, up to 1:00 PM. The provisional and final seat allocation will take place on September 10 and 11, respectively. The joining period is scheduled for September 13 and 14, 2026.
Round 3 Counselling
The third round will start with fresh online counselling applications on September 16, 2026. The provisional merit list will be published on September 18 and the final merit list on September 19.
The vacancy position will be displayed on September 22, followed by choice filling from September 22 to 24. Provisional seat allocation is scheduled for September 26, while final seat allocation will be announced on September 28. Candidates will have to join the allotted college on September 30 or October 1, 2026.
Stray Vacancy Round
The schedule for the Stray Vacancy Round has not been announced yet. The dates for fresh registration, merit list publication, vacancy display, choice filling, seat allocation and joining will be notified separately.
