Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the Round 1 schedule for NEET UG Counselling 2026. The revised schedule was issued through Notice No. 08 dated August 13, 2026, for candidates participating in counselling for MBBS, BDS and B.Sc Nursing courses under the 15% All India Quota (AIQ), 100% Deemed/Central Universities, AFMC, AIIMS and JIPMER (Puducherry & Karaikal).
Candidates are advised to follow the revised schedule for registration, fee payment, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, result and reporting.

Registration and Payment Deadline
As per the revised schedule, candidates can complete Round 1 registration and payment from August 5 to August 15, 2026, up to 2:00 PM. However, the payment facility will remain available until 5:00 PM on August 15, 2026, as per server time.
Candidates should complete the registration and payment process within the specified deadline to remain eligible for the subsequent choice filling and seat allotment process.
Choice Filling and Locking
The choice filling process will be available from August 6 to August 17, 2026, up to 6:00 PM. Candidates can submit their preferred courses and institutes during this period.
The notice specifies that choice locking will begin at 10:00 AM on August 17 and remain open until 6:00 PM on the same day. Candidates should carefully review their choices before locking them.
Seat Allotment and Reporting
After completion of choice filling and locking, MCC will process the seat allotment on August 18, 2026. The Round 1 seat allotment result will be published on August 19, 2026.
Candidates who are allotted seats will have to report and complete the joining process at their respective allotted institutes between August 20 and August 25, 2026. The verification of joined candidate data by the respective institutes is scheduled for August 26, 2026.
