Candidates wishing to apply for MD/MS/DNB programs in Himachal Pradesh in the academic year 2025-26 must apply through the AMRU website only at www.amruhp.ac.in. Application forms will only be accepted in online mode. Under no circumstance will offline applications be accepted. Candidates must ensure that they meet all eligibility requirements before beginning the application process.
Step 1: Registration
- To apply for admission and counselling, candidates should visit the AMRU website and go to the Menu section, then select Admission, followed by Apply for Admission and Counselling, and finally choose PG MD/MS/DNB.
- You will need to register using an email ID that is both valid and unique, along with a unique mobile number.
- Complete all details accurately, as they appear in your NEET PG 2025 registration, including (Name, Father’s Name, Roll Number, etc.).
- You will need to validate you email and mobile through an OTP.
- After verification, complete the registration by entering the captcha code and clicking “Register.”
Step 2: Payment of Application Fee
- Pay the non-refundable fee online for General/EWS is Rs.3600, SC/ST is Rs.2500 and No fee for PwD.
- Fee payment alone does not complete the process. Candidates must fill out and submit the form after payment.
- Incorrect or duplicate payments will not be refunded or adjusted.
Step 3: Filling the Application Form
- Enter personal details such as name, DOB, category, and domicile correctly.
- Upload a recent photograph (max 40 KB) and signature (max 20 KB) in JPG/JPEG format.
- Provide address and contact information accurately.
- Fill in your education information such as MBBS, college attended, year of completion, and internship completion.
- Upload all required documents in the appropriate size and format.
- Eligible candidates must also choose the option for Management Quota when submitting their application.
Step 4: Final Submission
- Make sure to review everything carefully before clicking “Final Submit.” Ensure you review all of your information thoroughly before clicking on “Final Submit” to submit the application.
- When you submit your application, you must download and print the application PDF for your records.
- Everything that has been submitted is final, and there will not be an option to edit. Therefore, if you submitted something incorrectly, you will need to submit a new application with a new email ID.
Step 5: Post-Submission Process
- Incomplete or unpaid applications will be automatically deleted after the deadline.
- For future rounds of counselling, candidates must submit a fresh application.
- AMRU may request original or scanned documents for verification at any stage.

Himachal Pradesh NEET PG Counselling 2025 Service Bond Policy
Himachal Pradesh government has made it compulsory for all candidates admitted to MD/MS/DNB courses in government medical and dental colleges to sign a service bond to ensure that postgraduate doctors work for the state for a specified period after completing PG studies.
Bond Duration & Period of Service
- In-service GDOs (within the State): a 4 years commitment to serve the state, 1 year of which will be mandatory field posting after PG completion.
- GDOs doing PG outside the State (sponsored): a 5 years commitment to serve the state, 1 year of which will be mandatory field posting after PG completion.
- Direct Candidates (non-GDOs): Must serve the state for 2 years, including 1 year of mandatory field posting after PG.
Bond Execution
- The bond amount is Rs.40 lakh for PG courses and Rs.90 lakh for combined PG + Superspeciality.
- Candidates must submit:
- Legal bond undertaking (attested by Executive Magistrate)
- Undated cheque (Rs.40/Rs.90 lakh in the name of DHS/DME)
