Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) will conduct the Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2025 for MD, MS, Diploma, DNB, and PGDSM courses in online mode. Candidates who qualify the NEET PG 2025, will be invited to apply through the university’s official website which is www.bfuhs.ac.in. The online application will we done in phases including registering, uploading the required documents, allowing to the process of filling and locking choices and finally the allotment of seats. The process will flow as described below:
Step I – Filling of online admission application form
- Only candidates who qualify the NEET PG 2025 will be allowed to submit their application online for admission to Postgraduate medical courses which will also include Diploma programs and a six-month Ultrasonography course.
- Candidates will be required to upload the following documents while initiating their application and filling out the registration form:
1. Soft copy of candidate’s photograph (maximum size 30 KB)
2. Soft copy of candidate’s signature (maximum size 30KB)
Photograph specifications:
- Color photograph of size 35×45 mm with 75% coverage of face and head.
- Must include the candidate’s name and date at the bottom.
- Background should be white or light-colored with no cap or goggles.
- Only regular spectacles are allowed.
- The photo should be clear, natural, and printed with 600 dpi resolution.
- Applications with unclear or invalid photographs are liable to be rejected.
- Once successfully submitted, the University will provide a unique Registration ID (Login ID) and Password via the registered mobile number as well as email ID. These credentials will be required for all future engagements, including payment of the fee, filling in the choices for seats, and downloading of the allotment letter.
- Please note, filling in the online application form and payment of fee does not constitute admission, as eligibility verification will be conducted thereafter.
- The MBBS degree must be recognized by the NMC. If found otherwise, candidature will be canceled.

Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2025 Choice Filling Instructions
The choice filling process is a crucial stage in the Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2025 conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS). Only candidates who have successfully registered and paid the counselling fee within the prescribed timeline are eligible to participate in the online counselling. No unregistered candidate will be allowed to take part in any counselling round, whether online or physical.

The candidate is required to report to the relevant college/hospital, after receiving and verifying all original documents listed in their allotment letter. If they only pay the tuition fees, this does not mean they have been granted admission to the institution assigned on the allotment letter of their Punjab NEET PG Counselling 2025 prospectively allotment letter. Admission is effective only after a candidate’s documents have been verified with the institution and they have been declared eligible.
Candidates who do not report to the college/hospital they were allotted within the specified time-period and have completed the verification of their documents will lose their allotted seat, which will then be available in the next round of counselling.
If any candidate requests to withdraw or surrender their seat after the first round, they must submit a written application to the allotted college or hospital prior to the specified withdrawal time.

- In minority colleges, if there are IP seats reserved for minority candidates, those candidates are allotted first; if there are no minority candidates to request IP seats, they are then converted to Minority Quota seats, if required.
- Candidates in the reserved category, when there is no open merit or IP candidate available, will be first allotted as per Open merit of SC/BC/EWS category (depending on the category they qualify for).
If seats allotted to candidates are not reported to or documented/qualified as directed in the time frame prescribed, then the candidates seat will be eventually canceled automatically, and then the seat offered to the next allotee in the process of the next rounds allotted.
Instructions Regarding Deposition Of Fee
The provisionally selected candidates are required to deposit the requisite six months fee through university payment gateway in university account after logging into their login ID account and carry the payment receipt to the respective allotted institute.

Guidelines for 2nd Round
- Candidates satisfied with their Round 1 seat need not participate in the second round.
- Those seeking upgradation or change of course/college must submit willingness and fill fresh preferences.
- Candidates can list colleges even if they don’t appear in the vacancy list since seats may open up due to shifting or withdrawal.
