Sikkim NEET UG Counselling 2026 Registration Begins Today

Education Department, Government of Sikkim, has released a notice regarding the allotment of State Quota seats for MBBS and BDS courses. As per the notice dated August 14, 2026, eligible candidates can register online through the State web portal for admission under the State Quota.

Sikkim NEET UG Counselling 2026 registration for MBBS and BDS State Quota seats will be open from 17 August 2026 at 10:00 AM to 24 August 2026 at 4:30 PM. Eligible NEET UG 2026 candidates must pay the Rs. 600 registration fee and upload the required documents within the deadline.

Candidates must have qualified NEET UG 2026 to be eligible for the registration process. The registration window will remain open for a limited period, and the notice clearly states that no extension of the registration deadline will be permitted.

Registration Fee

Candidates are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 600 through the online payment facility. The notice also provides an option for candidates who wish to pay the registration fee offline through the State Bank of Sikkim.

Candidates should complete the fee payment within the prescribed registration period to ensure successful submission of their application.

Documents Required for Sikkim NEET UG Counselling

Candidates participating in the State Quota counselling are required to upload the necessary documents online for verification. The notice states that incomplete forms will be summarily rejected.

The documents listed in the notice include:

  1. Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification (COI) of the father or candidate.
  2. Valid Community Certificate issued in the name of the candidate.
  3. Residential Certificate or Trade Licence in the name of the father or parent’s employment certificate in case of other community candidates.
  4. Recent PBL certificate issued by DESME, if applicable.
  5. Date of Birth Certificate.
  6. NEET Scorecard.
  7. Class XII marksheet.

Important Instructions for Candidates

Online registration does not automatically confer a right to claim a State Quota seat. The allotment of seats will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination, subject to the reservation and roster policy of the State Government.
