Punjab NEET Counselling 2026 Round 1 Revised Schedule Released

Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS), Faridkot has released the revised schedule for the First Round of Online Counselling under NEET UG 2026 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. The revised schedule, dated August 25, 2026, updates the dates for choice filling, provisional seat allotment, objections and reporting.

Choice Filling Window

According to the revised schedule, the online choice-filling process for Round 1 will remain open from August 16 to August 23, 2026, up to 5:00 PM.

Candidates participating in Punjab NEET UG Counselling 2026 should ensure that their preferred courses and colleges are submitted within the specified deadline.

Provisional Seat Allotment on August 27

The Provisional Seat Allotment Result for Round 1 will be displayed on August 27, 2026.

Candidates should carefully check their allotment status and verify the allotted college and course once the result is published.

Objections Against Allotment

Candidates who have any objection to their provisional seat allotment can submit their objections by August 28, 2026, up to 3:00 PM.

The university has specifically stated that objections will be accepted only through personal appearance at the Admission Branch, BFUHS, Faridkot, along with supporting documents. Objections submitted through email or any other electronic mode will not be entertained.

Revised Allotment Result on August 29

After considering the objections received from candidates, the revised provisional seat allotment, if any, will be displayed on August 29, 2026.

Candidates should therefore check the revised allotment result after the disposal of objections.

Physical Reporting from August 30

Candidates who are provisionally allotted seats will have to report physically at their respective colleges from August 30 to September 5, 2026.

During reporting, candidates will be required to undergo verification of original documents, medical examination wherever applicable, completion of admission formalities and payment of the six months’ tuition fee through the University Online Payment Gateway available in the candidate’s login.

Candidates should ensure that they carry all required original documents and complete the admission process within the prescribed timeline.
