Counselling Registrations 

Step 1: Visit the BOPEE Website:

  • Go to www.jkbopee.gov.in 
  • Click on the "Click to Apply" link/button under the "Online Applications" section and then select "NEET–UG."

Step 2: Review Examination Information:

  • Check the details such as the application period, registration schedule, important instructions, and document uploading guidelines provided on the page.

Step 3: Prepare Required Documents:

  • Ensure you have scanned copies of the following documents in PDF format, each ranging from 100-200 KB:
    • Domicile Certificate
    • Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation Certificate/Marks Card)
    • 10+2 Marks Card
    • Category Certificate (if applicable)
    • NEET Score Card

Step 4: Fill Online Application Form:

  • Click on "Click here to apply."
  • Read the instructions, check the acknowledgment box, and proceed to fill in your registration details.
  • Enter the verification code and submit the form.
  • Review your submitted details and make corrections if necessary.

Step 5: Activate Your Account:

  • An email will be sent to the provided email address.
  • Click on the activation link in the email and enter the OTP provided.
  • Set a new password for your account.

Step 6: Login to Your Account:

  • Use your NEET Roll Number as the username and the password you set during activation to log in.
  • After successful login, you can view your personal details and choose options like uploading documents, editing your application, changing your password, etc.

Step 7: Upload Documents:

  • Click on "Upload Document" to upload the required documents in PDF format.
  • Choose the correct files and upload them.
  • Verify the uploaded documents.

Step 8: Print Registration Form:

  • After uploading the necessary documents, click on the provided link to print the registration form for your records.

Step 9: Logout:

  • Once you have completed all necessary steps, log out/close the browser window.

Step 10: For Already Registered Candidates:

  • Click on "Click here to log in if already registered."
  • After login, you can view and edit your personal details, view uploaded documents, and change your password if needed.

Counselling Process

Registration:

  • Visit the official website of JKBOPEE (www.jkbopee.gov.in) and click on "Click to Apply" under "Online Applications" and the "NEET–UG" section.
  • Carefully read the instructions and registration schedule.
  • Fill out the online application form with accurate information and upload the required documents (scanned copies) within the specified size limits.
  • Submit the application and verify your registration details.
  • Activate your account using the email link sent by JKBOPEE.
  • Remember your username (NEET roll no.) and password for future logins.

Preference Filling:

  • Wait for the announcement regarding preference filling mode (online or physical).
  • If online, log in to your account and choose your preferred courses/colleges within the specified timeframe.
  • Prioritize government colleges first, but the choice remains yours.
  • Submit your final preferences and confirm them once you're sure.
  • If physical, stay updated on the dates and process for in-person preference submission.

Counselling Rounds:

  • Check if the Board decides to conduct online or physical counselling rounds.

First Round:

  • Eligible candidates will be allotted seats based on merit and preferences.
  • Join the allotted college within the specified time to confirm your seat.
  • Surrender your seat if you want to participate in further rounds.

Upgradation Rounds (optional):

  • These rounds happen if seats remain vacant due to non-joining, etc.
  • Eligible candidates can participate to upgrade their seats based on merit and new preferences.
  • Seats are filled on a day-to-day basis, so stay updated.

Physical Round (optional):

  • Attend the physical round if scheduled, as per your allotted time slot.

  • Accept your allotted seat during the round.

NEET UG Counselling 2025

NEET Counselling 2025 primarily consists of Registrations, Choice filling, Choice Locking, Seat Allotment, the commencement of Round of Counselling, Upgradation, and Reporting to Colleges which every Step to follow to ensure a smooth and effective way to complete counselling and get admitted to your desired colleges and making your dream come true as a medical aspirant, Here’s some about steps to follow during Counselling Process;

Step 1: Registration 

  • The first and Foremost step to follow for Counselling is registration, Visit the Medical Counselling Committee’s official website (Click Here).
  • Then Locate the Registration link named ‘UG Counselling Registrations’ and Click on it
  • After the registration link has opened carefully fill up the registration form mentioning your personal details, academic details, and other important details.
  • After filling out the registration form, make the payment for registration in the Make Payment Section using the debit card or UPI.
  • Once the payment is done, you will have the ‘preview’ where you can preview the registration and check whether the details you have provided are correct or Not. Once you checked all the details you have provided click on ‘okay’. Take a printout of the registration or download the pdf form for future references 
  • Once registration is done click on the log out from the registration and move onward to choice filling Sections 

Step 2: Choice Filling 

  • Upon registration, the next step to follow is ‘Choice Filling’ where you can choose a list of Medical and dental colleges of your choice ensuring the best options for your medical journey 
  • After registration. Log in again for the choice filling with details you have provided during registration.
  • Once you have logged in to choice filling, now you can fill up choices for a list of colleges that are best suited for you. 
  • There is no limit to the list of choices you can select.
  • Once the choice filling is done move on to the Choice locking section.

Step 3: Choice Locking 

  • Once you selected all your preferred choices move on to the Choic Locking section ensuring that the choices you have selected will be used in the first round of NEET Counselling.
  • Once you checked thoroughly through your selected preference, start locking all the colleges.
  • Once you have locked all the choices, you can’t change the preference until the next round of counselling so carefully lock the choices

Step 4: Rounds of Counselling 

 The counselling for medical and dental will conducted with four rounds of Counselling while each round follows typical steps such as registration (for first round only. Auto Consideration for the other rounds), Choice filling and locking, seat allottment, result and document verification and reporting to allotted colleges;

Round 1:

  • Register: Pay fees and register on the MCC website.
  • Choices: Fill and lock in preferred colleges & courses.
  • Seat Allotment: Based on rank & choices, get a seat.
  • Results & Documents: Check results, and upload certificates.
  • Reporting: Report to college with documents (upgrade option).

Round 2:

  • Automatic Consideration: No need to register if not allotted in Round 1.
  • Fresh Registration: Register for Round 2 if new or missed Round 1.
  • Choices: Fill in new choices and lock them.
  • Seat Allotment & Reporting: Similar to Round 1.
  • Upgrade: Upgraded candidates need relieving from Round 1 seat.

Round 3:

  • Automatic Consideration: Similar to Round 2.
  • Fresh Registration: Similar to Round 2.
  • Choices & Reporting: Similar to Rounds 1 & 2.

Final Stray Vacancy Round:

  • Register: New registration is required.
  • Elimination: Candidates with seats are eliminated.
  • Vacancy Round: Fill choices for vacant seats.
  • Seat Allotment: Based on merit in this round.
  • Joining: Join allotted seat or face consequences.

Step 5: Seat Allottment Process for the Rounds 

Here’s how seat allottment process works;

Common Steps for All Rounds:

  • Choices Locked: After the choice filling window closes, your choices are locked.
  • Rank Processing: Your NEET score and category are used to calculate your rank.
  • Seat Allocation Algorithm: Seats are allocated based on a pre-defined algorithm considering:
  1. Your rank in the NEET Exam
  2. Your locked choices
  3. Seat availability in your chosen colleges and courses
  4. Reservation categories
  • Seat Allotment Results: Results are announced on the official website (MCC for AIQ, state websites for state quota).

Seat Acceptance:

If Allotted:

  • Download your allotment letter.
  • Upload required documents within the stipulated timeframe.
  • Report to the allotted college with original documents for physical verification.

Not Allotted:

  • Wait for the next round or consider Stray Vacancy Round (if applicable).

Step 6: Upgradations
