The university issued the notice on October 6, 2026, citing technical issues encountered during the counselling process. According to the notice, some eligible candidates could not be reflected in the MBBS/BDS 3rd Round Counselling 2026 merit list because of these technical issues.
Choice Filling Extended Till October 8
As per the latest notice, eligible candidates can now submit or complete their choices through the counselling portal up to 8 October 2026, 11:00 AM
Candidates who are eligible for the third round of MBBS counselling are advised to complete their choice filling within the extended deadline. The university has specifically stated that no further extension will be entertained after the revised deadline.
Why Was the Deadline Extended?
AMRU stated that the extension was provided due to technical issues during the counselling process, because of which some eligible candidates could not be reflected in the merit list for the 3rd Round of MBBS/BDS Counselling 2026.
To provide the affected candidates an opportunity to participate, the university has extended the choice-filling window.
