Odisha NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 Schedule

Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Odisha has issued a tentative schedule for Round 3 of NEET Counselling 2025 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses through the State Quota. This round is being conducted as a result of the MCC Counselling Extension Notification that has been issued to provide a fair opportunity to candidates aspiring to fill vacant seats in government, private and minority medical and dental institutions in Odisha.

The registration and online application along with uploading documents for online verification, for Round 3 has already commenced on 06-10-2025, 11:30 AM and will conclude on 07-10-2025, 11:59 PM. Candidates interested in this round should undertake registration and document upload before this date.

The registration for Round 3 will be open for candidates who have not secured a seat in Round 1 and 2 or would like to upgrade their seat that alloted to them. Candidates will be required to fill and lock their college choice and report for allotted and provisional admission.

Candidates should be mindful that candidates that take admission in Round 3 will not be permitted to withdraw after reporting and therefore a candidate that is allotted a seat in Round and another candidate allotted the same college in either the first 2 rounds or All India Quota 3rd round will be ineligible to attend State Quota Stray Vacancy or Spot rounds.

The registration, online application, and document uploading for online verification has already started on 06-10-2025 at 11:30 AM and will continue until 07-10-2025 at 11:59 PM. Following registration, candidates must complete all steps including choice filling, locking, and reporting for admission within the specified dates to secure their seat.

It is important to follow the deadlines, as failure to complete any step on time may result in disqualification from Round 3. Candidates who have already taken admission in previous rounds or in the All India Quota 3rd round are not eligible to participate in this round.

Important Rules for Participating Candidates in Odisha NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3

Odisha NEET UG 2025 Round 3 Counselling follows a strict set of rules and norms established by the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) and the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET) to ensure fairness and structure in the admission process for MBBS and BDS courses under State Quota. Below are the details of the important rules that candidates must comply with:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification in NEET-UG 2025: Candidates must have qualified the NEET-UG 2025 exam.
  • Domicile Requirement: Candidates must be a permanent resident of Odisha to claim the 85% State Quota seats.
  • Age Requirement: Candidates must have attained 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2025.
  • Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board.

Registration and Document Upload

  • Online Enrollment: Applicants are required to enroll online on the official OJEE website: ojee.nic.in.
  • Document Verification: For online verification, all mandatory documents, including the NEET-UG scorecard, Class 12 mark sheet, domicile certificate, and category certificate (if applicable) must be uploaded.
  • Enrolment Dates: The duration allotted for Round 3 submission of document uploads and registration will be from 06-10-2025 at 11:30 AM to 07-10-2025 at 11:59 PM.

Key Rules for Candidates

  • Filling and locking of choices, Candidates must fill and lock their choices within the specified period. Once the choices have been locked no further changes may be made.
  • Seats will be allotted based on candidate merit, choices filled, and available seats. Judging and confirming admissions, candidates should report to the allotted institute “with all the original documents and a payment receipt of the admission fee” in the notified time.
  •  No changes will be made to the choice once the choices have been locked.
  • Candidates will not be able to upgrade their allotted seat or resign from the admission process after Round 3.
  • Candidates will forfeit their allocated seat and will be removed from future rounds if they did not report or complete their admission process.

Important Notes

  • No Withdrawal After Round 3: Candidates who have taken admission in Round 3 are not permitted to withdraw from the admission process. 
  • No participation in Stray Vacancy Round: Candidates who have admitted in Round 3 will not be allowed to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round or Spot rounds. 
  • Follow the schedule strictly: To participate in counselling you must strictly follow the counselling schedule. Missing deadlines will lead to forfeiting the opportunity to participate.
