Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has announced the Round 1 and Round 2 NEET 2025 cut-offs for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Government and Private Medical Colleges throughout the state. The relevance of the NEET cut-off ranks is to provide insights on candidate’s admissions trends which will assist aspirants to develop an understanding on how competition has changed between Round 1 and Round 2.

There was a significant amount of change to most colleges’ Round 2 NEET cut-off ranks as compared to Round 1 for the Bihar NEET Counselling 2025 round. Although government-colleges, Patna Medical College (PMC), Nalanda Medical College (NMC), and IGIMS Patna, maintained the trend of attracting candidates with the highest ranks in the Round 2 cut-off ranks, we also saw some shift increase in appearance of students in private colleges like Katihar Medical College (KMC), Madhubani Medical College (MMC), and Lord Buddha Koshi Medical College (LBKMC) – particularly in terms of NRI and management quota students.
In this blog we will compare the Round 1 v Round 2 cut-off ranks for MBBS and BDS programmes offered by government and private medical colleges in Bihar.
