Step 1: Registration
- Go to the official website and click on the “Online Application Portal of PGMAC-2025”.

- Create a password and note down the PGMAC ID for future use.
- Carefully select your category (UR, EWS, SC, ST, BC, EBC, or DQ). If the candidate fails to select the correct category or upload valid caste proof, they will be treated as a General (UR) category candidate.
Step 2: Fill Multi-Step Application Form
- Fill in your personal information; candidate name, gender, date of birth, parents’ information, and NEET PG roll number. Then click on “Save & Continue.”
- Fill in permanent address and correspondence address, and contact details, and click on “Save & Continue.”
- Fill in educational qualifications, MBBS college, internship end date, NMC registration details, etc.
- Candidates applying under the Remote/Difficult Area Medical Officer reservation category must upload experience certificates as issued by the competent authority.
- Upload scanned copies of passport-size photographs, signatures, and relevant attachments as mentioned in the instructions and click “Save & Continue.”
Step 3: Preview and Final Submission
- Review all details entered in Step 1 and Step 2.
- Click “Back to Edit” to make corrections if required.
- Once verified, click on “Final Submit & Proceed to Payment”.
- Applications not submitted finally or not paid within the prescribed date will be rejected automatically.

- Once the payment is made successfully, the candidate will have to fill the order of preference for course and college.
- To complete this action, the candidate will click/save the choices and then lock the choices.
- To lock the choices, an OTP will be sent to the registered mobile/ email.
- If the candidate does not lock the choices by the end date, the last saved choices will get locked automatically.
Step 6: Download Confirmation Page & Fee Receipt
- Once payment is made successfully the candidate submits and finishes the application, then download the Confirmation Page and Fee Receipt.
- Check the details carefully for accuracy. Please note that the discrepancy can be corrected in the edit window.
- Do retain printed copies for future reference.

- After locking the choices, candidates can download or print their filled choice list by clicking the “View Filled Choices” option on the dashboard.

It is required for candidates admitted to MD/MS courses in government medical colleges of Bihar to sign a service bond upon admission. The bond ensures that students either complete their course and serve the state or pay a penalty if they fail to do so.

- Mid-Course Exit: If a candidate opts out of the course prior to completion, they would pay back a penalty of Rs15 lakh to the Bihar Government. The candidate will also be required to pay back the full amount they received through their stipend.
- Compulsory Service: A candidate must work as a doctor for the Bihar Government for three years after completion of their degree with a penalty of Rs.25 lakh if the candidate opts out and chooses not to serve.
- Bond Execution: The candidate will complete the bond form at the time of admission which will include some personal details such as NEET-PG Roll Number, and registration.
- Enforcement: The bond will remain effective until completion of the medical course and completion of service, in the event a candidate does not fulfill their obligations, the bond will be enforced through recovery and other legal channels that are appropriate.
