Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, has issued the notification for NEET UG 2025 Round 2 counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions to fill up the vacant seats which remained unfilled after Round 1 of counselling in all government and private medical/dental colleges of Chhattisgarh state. NEET UG Round 2 counselling can be attended by both new candidates (not registered in Round 1) and already registered candidates (who were not allotted a seat in Round 1, did not join the allotted seat in Round 1, or want to upgrade the allocated seat).
According to the notification, a Round 2 registration will start from 11:00 AM on 13th of September 2025 as per server time and will continue until 11:59 PM on 17th September 2025. The choice filling and locking will begin on 13th of September 2025 and will continue till 11:59 PM on 18th September 2025. Candidates must do fresh online registration, choice filling & choice locking within the dates prescribed to get a seat. Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Dates
Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Chhattisgarh, has released the official schedule for Round 2 counselling for MBBS and BDS admissions. This round is crucial for candidates who did not secure a seat in Round 1, those who did not join their allotted seat, and those wishing to upgrade their seat.
The complete timeline for online registration, choice filling, and locking is given below. Candidates are advised to complete all steps within the given time frame, as no requests will be entertained after the last date.

Chhattisgarh NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Counselling Rules
1. Candidates who were allotted seats in the first round must log in to the portal and give their consent for upgradation. Only after providing consent and completing institute selection will they be considered for participation in the second round of counselling.
2. As per Rule 7(x)(3) of Chhattisgarh Medical, Dental & Physiotherapy Graduate Admission Rules, 2025, candidates who are absent during counselling will not be permitted to register in subsequent rounds of counselling.
3. Previously registered candidates must give their consent for upgradation and participate in institute selection again. If a candidate does not give consent or does not select institutes, they will not be considered for seat allotment in Round 2 counselling.
4. Previously registered candidates who have already taken admission in a government medical college but now wish to choose private medical colleges in upcoming rounds will be required to pay the difference amount between the government medical college registration fee and the private medical college registration fee. Only after payment of the differential amount will they be able to select private medical colleges.
5. Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 and upcoming counselling rounds who do not take admission after seat allotment will have their admission cancelled, and their registration fee/security deposit will be forfeited. (This is in accordance with Rule 7(x)(4) of Chhattisgarh Medical, Dental & Physiotherapy Graduate Admission Rules, 2025, notification dated 28.10.2025.)
Note: Candidates are advised to choose only those colleges during institute selection where they are genuinely willing to take admission.
6. During the entire counselling process (payment of registration fee, institute selection, seat allotment, etc.), if a candidate faces any technical issues (like internet/server problems), the Directorate of Medical Education will not be held responsible. Candidates are advised not to wait until the last day and to complete all formalities well in advance.

Candidates participating in the Round 2 of Chhattisgarh NEET UG Counselling 2025 are required to pay both registration fees and security money to complete the counselling process.
