Delhi NEET Counseling 2025 Round 3 Choice Filling process is officially started for candidates who want to take admissions into MBBS/BDS seats at medical/dental colleges in Delhi from the time frame of 06.10.2025 (4.00 pm) to 12.10.2025 (11:59 pm) (the official time frame for choice filling). This round conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) will provide one of the last opportunities for NEET eligible candidates to take admission based on the NEET-qualified candidate’s Delhi State Quota.

In this phase of counselling, registered candidates for Delhi NEET 2025 counselling may fill and lock their options for colleges/courses according to their NEET UG 2025 All India Rank and eligibility whereas applicants who have not been allocated seats in previous rounds, or if applicants are new to the counselling process will have to enter fresh options on the official portal (https://ipu.admissions.nic.in).

The choice filling and locking process must be completed for a candidate to be considered for seat allotment. The choices that have been filled will be automatically locked by the system after the time frame has lapsed. Therefore, candidates should ensure that their decisions are made with consideration of their college and course options.

Delhi NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 Choice Filling Schedule

Candidates who have already registered and verified their documents in earlier rounds do not need to register again, but they must participate in the choice-filling process to be considered for Round 3 seat allotment. New candidates who have registered fresh for this round can also fill their choices after successful payment and verification.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) has published guidelines for candidates for the Round 3 Choice Filling of Delhi NEET UG Counselling 2025. The purpose of the guidelines is to ensure that the admission process for MBBS and BDS seats under GGSIPU quota is conducted in an orderly and fair manner.

All candidates whether newly registered or those continuing from previous rounds must carefully follow the instructions below during the choice-filling period to avoid disqualification or cancellation of their seat.

Key Instructions to be Followed During Choice Filling

Choice Filling is Mandatory

  • Every candidate must cast their college and course preference, while choices are open for filling in during the choice filling period. Candidates who fail to do so will not be considered for online seat allotment in Round 3.

Preference Order Matters:

  • After enrollment in online counselling, candidates must carefully fill in their choices from the list of all available institutes and courses. The order of preferences will determine the priority during seat allotment.

Visit Colleges Before Filling Choices:

  • GGSIPU highly recommends that candidates and their parents visit the medical and dental colleges affiliated with the University before filling in their choices/preferences. 
  • Candidates and their parents should consider the following while visiting the colleges:
  1. Location and connectivity
  2. Academic reputation
  3. Hostel and transport facilities
  4. Infrastructure and hospitals
  • After the allotment of seats, the University will not entertain any hassled complaints from students, or their parents regarding the distance/location of allotted colleges. 

Verify and Edit Application Details:

  • Candidates must re-check, and if editing is necessary, edit details on the application form before filling in choices related to Category, Sub-category, or between Region (Delhi/Outside Delhi). 
  • If a candidate completes and submits the application for admission without this information there is a possibility of ineligible, or cancellation of seat. 

Ensure Eligibility Before Filling Choices:

  • It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure they meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the program. 
  • Providing false information or incomplete representations about the category, subcategory, or region will lead to cancellation of admission – fees paid will automatically be forfeited.
