Round 3 is open to three types of candidates:

  • Candidates who have registered and were not allotted a seat in Rounds 1 and 2.
  • Candidate who were allotted a seat in previous Rounds but did not join.
  • Candidates who joined a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 but would like to up-grade to their preferred college or course.

The online fresh registration, if any, and editing of information filled in online, choice filling, and filling, and locking of choices for Round 3 will be held from 07-10-2025 to 11-10-2025 (till 11:59 PM). Candidates should also take care to review their preferences and lock their choice before the provided time to participate in the round of counselling.

Haryana NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 Important Dates

Haryana NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 is for candidates seeking admission to MBBS/BDS courses in Government, Government-Aided, Private Medical & Dental Colleges in the state, including Private/Minority Universities such as SGT University (Gurugram), Maharishi Markandeshwar University (Ambala), and Al-Falah University (Faridabad) for the academic session 2025-26.

The tentative schedule for Round 3 counselling is provided below. Candidates are advised to follow these dates carefully to ensure successful registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and admission.

Important Information for Candidates – Haryana NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3

Candidates participating in Round-3 of Haryana NEET Counselling 2025 must carefully read the following instructions to ensure smooth registration, choice filling, and seat allotment:

  1. No Fresh Registration Required for Previous Round Candidates
  • Candidates who have already registered for Round-1 or Round-2 do not need to register again for Round-3.
  1. Willingness for Seat Upgradation
  • Candidates who were allotted seats in Round-1 or Round-2 must provide their online willingness/option to upgrade in Round-3. Failure to do so will make them ineligible for Round-3 counselling.
  1. Right to Previously Allotted Seat
  • Candidates who joined their allotted seats in Round-1 or Round-2 retain their right to that seat. This seat will only be upgraded if the candidate secures a preferred seat during Round-3. Candidates must submit fresh preferences/choices for the seats they wish to upgrade to.
  1. Security Amount for Participation
  • Candidates opting only for State Quota seats in Government/Govt.-Aided Medical/Dental Colleges must deposit Rs. 10,000 (Rs. 5,000 for SC/SCD/BCA/BCB/EWS/PWBD of Haryana).
  • Candidates opting for State Quota + Management Quota/Private University seats must deposit Rs. 1,00,000.
  • This facility will be available through the candidate’s login on the admission web portal.
  • Failure to deposit the requisite security amount will make the candidate ineligible for Round-3 counselling.
  • For candidates who join on the allotted seat, the security amount will be adjusted in the first-year tuition fee.
  1. Forfeiture of Security Amount
  • Candidates allotted a seat in Round-3 but who do not join will have their security amount forfeited and will not be eligible for further rounds, including stray rounds.

Security deposits of candidates not allotted any seat during Round-2 or Round-3 will be returned after the counselling process.

  1. Eligibility for Round-3
  • Candidates who joined seats in Round-2 are eligible to participate in Round-3.
  • Candidates who deposited a security amount in Round-2 but were not allotted a seat do not need to deposit again for Round-3.
  • Candidates who joined in Round-1 but did not participate in Round-2 or did not resign from Round-1 seats can participate in Round-3 after depositing the security amount.
  1. All India Quota/State Quota Seats
  • Candidates allotted/joined a seat under All India Quota or any State quota up to Round-3 will not be eligible for further rounds, including stray rounds.
  • Candidates who do not wish to retain their Round-2 seat may exit, with forfeiture of the security amount.
  1. Incorrect Information or Document Issues
  • If a candidate provides wrong information during registration that leads to seat allotment, or fails to produce required documents during verification, the security amount will be forfeited.
  1. Seat Conversion Policy
  • Vacant seats from reserved categories will revert to their original category and be filled as per merit after conversion (e.g., BC-A → BC-B → UR) in Round-3.
  • Any seat remaining vacant after Round-3 in any category will first be offered to candidates of the original category from the previous round.
  • If still vacant, the seat will be filled as per the system in Round-3.

Q. Who is eligible to participate in the Haryana NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3?

A. Any candidate who was offered a seat in either Round 1 or Round 2, but did not accept it, or if the candidate accepted the college seat in either Round 1 or Round 2, is eligible to participate in Round 3 if he/she wants to upgrade the college. 

Q. If I have previously registered in Round 1 or Round 2, do I need to register again for Round 3 of Haryana NEET Counselling?

A. If you have already registered in Round 1 or Round 2, you do NOT need to register again. You simply need to log into your existing account and fill out new choices for Round 3. 

Q. Can I apply for seat upgradation in Round 3 of the Haryana NEET Counselling?

A. If you accepted the allotted seat in Round 1 or Round 2, you can apply for upgradation of the college in Round 3 with a fresh set of choices in order of preferences.

Q. What is the security deposit required for participating in Haryana NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3?

A. Candidates opting only for State Quota seats in Government or Government-Aided colleges must pay Rs. 10,000 (Rs. 5,000 for SC, SCD, BCA, BCB, EWS, and PwBD categories). Those opting for both Government and Private/Management quota seats must pay Rs. 1,00,000 as a security deposit.

Q. What happens if I get a seat but do not join college?

A. If you are assigned a seat in the 3rd round but do not attend the assigned college, your security deposit will be forfeited and you will not be allowed to participate in future counselling rounds including a stray vacancy round.

Q. Can I participate in Haryana NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 if I have already joined a seat in earlier rounds?

A. You can participate in Round 3 for seat upgradation even if you had joined a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 as long as you present new preferences in Round 3.

Q. Can I exit from Haryana NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 if I do not want to retain the allotted seat?

A. You can exit from the 3rd round of counselling, if you do not want to keep the assigned seat, but you will forfeit your security amount.

Q. How will vacant reserved category seats be filled in Round 3 of Haryana NEET Counselling 2025?

A. Seats Vacant under Reserved Categories would revert back to the original category based on the State Reservation Policy; for example, a seat reserved as BC-A may revert to BC-B or even further revert to Unreserved based on merit and availability.
