Achieving a good rank in NEET UG 2025 is just the first step in your goal of becoming a doctor. The subsequent step is the counselling, admission, and registration sequence where you will have to register (along with a fee), submit documents, and finally, get a medical or dental seat in your desired college.
Document verification is an important step in the NEET counselling and admission process. If you do not have the right documents, you could lose your seat in counselling, even if you performed well on the NEET UG 2025 exam.
When registering for counselling for NEET UG 2025, students will have to prepare/present some very essential academic, identity, category, and domicile certificates beforehand.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will manage counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) so the documents required will vary slightly from documents required for state quota because different state authorities will process these seats.
It is important to keep in mind which documents are compulsory, which are optional by category, and how to execute the prepared documents to easily navigate the process and to ease any stress of forgotten documents.
