National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially started the online application process from 7th Feb 2025 for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025. Aspiring medical students can now apply for the examination through the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
NEET UG 2025 is the mandatory entrance exam for admission to undergraduate medical courses (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BSMS, and BVSc & AH) in all medical institutions across India. NEET UG scores will also be considered for admissions to B.Sc. Nursing courses at the Military Nursing Service (MNS) colleges.

Application Process & Fee Structure
Candidates can apply for NEET UG 2025 only through online mode on the NTA website. No other mode of application will be accepted. The application fee for different categories is as follows:

Exam Details
- Duration: 3 hours (180 minutes)
- Mode of Exam: Offline (Pen and Paper-based)
- Languages: NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages, including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Instructions for Applicants
- Candidates must apply online through neet.nta.nic.in.
- A valid email ID and mobile number are required for registration.
- Candidates need to upload scanned copies of their passport-size photo, signature, and documents as per NTA guidelines.
- Only one application per candidate is allowed.
- The admit card and exam-related notifications will be sent only to the registered email ID and mobile number.
Why NEET UG 2025 is Important?
NEET UG is the only national-level medical entrance exam for undergraduate courses in India. It ensures a uniform admission process across government and private medical colleges. Additionally, from 2025, NEET UG scores will be considered for B.Sc. Nursing admissions in Armed Forces Medical Services hospitals.
