Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 Registration

The Selection Committee, Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Chennai, has started the Round 3 registration process for Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2025 for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. This round covers Government Medical and Dental Colleges, ESIC Medical College (K.K. Nagar, Chennai), as well as Government and Management Quota seats in Self-Financing Medical and Dental Colleges, including Christian Medical College, Vellore, State Private Universities, and Wards of IRT Candidates.

Candidates who have already registered in Round 1 or Round 2 and were not allotted any seat are not required to register again. However, fresh registration is open for new applicants who did not participate earlier. All students wishing to upgrade / partipate in Self- Reallocate must log in and confirm their participation in the allotted time frame for the round. 

Registration for Round 3 is open from Oct 6, 2025, at 10:00 AM to Oct 9, 2025, at 5:00 PM. You will want to register, pay, and complete all the required formalities within the specified time frame in order to be eligible for an allotment in that round.

Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 Registration Process

For candidates seeking MBBS and BDS seats in Government, Government-aided, and Self-Financing Medical and Dental Colleges in Tamil Nadu, registration for Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 is a critical process. The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DME), Chennai, will conduct the entire process online, through its official counselling website, to ensure greater transparency and convenience. 

Before proceeding to register, we advise all students and parent(s)/guardian(s) to download and read the official prospectus in detail/fully so candidates are adequately informed of the eligibility requirements, documents needed and any other rules and regulations to the counselling process.

Step 1: Go to the Official Website 

  • Candidates will go to the official Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling website at www.tnmedicalselection.org. 
  • During the specified period (06-10-2025 to 09-10-2025, 05:00 PM), a link for Round 3 registration will be open. 

Step 2: Complete the Online Application Form 

  • Fill in all required personal, academic, and NEET details accurately in the online form. 
  • Upload all necessary documents in the required PDF format based on the specifications given. 
  • Confirm that all of your information is correct before final submission, as no alterations can be made post-submission. 
  • Download and maintain a copy of the application form you just completed for your records.

Step 3: Upload Required Documents

Candidates must upload the following documents while filling out the registration form:

  • NEET-UG 2025 Admit Card and Score Card
  • Class X Mark Sheet (both sides)
  • Class XI Mark Sheet (both sides)
  • HSC / Equivalent Mark Sheet (both sides)
  • Transfer Certificate after HSC
  • Proof of Study from Class VI to XII (for candidates studied in Tamil Nadu)
  • Community Certificate (if applicable)
  • Nativity Certificate
  • Parent’s Community Certificate (for communal reservation claim)
  • Special Category Certificates (PwBD / Sports / Ex-Servicemen – if applicable)
  • Bonafide Certificate (for 7.5% Tamil Nadu Government School Reservation)
  • Parent’s Income Certificate (for fee exemption claim)
  • Eligibility Certificate from TN Dr. M.G.R. Medical University (for candidates studied under other Boards except State Board, CBSE, ISCE)
  • Court orders (if any)
  • Any other supporting documents relevant to the claim made

Step 4: Ensure Accuracy of Information

The candidates must verify all information entered on the application form before submitting it. Marks, community, nativity, and category must be verified carefully for its validity.  Wrong or false information can lead to one or more of the following:

  • Cancellation of admission at any stage of the course
  • De-barred for 3 years from admission to any medical/dental course in Tamil Nadu
  • Legal action against the candidate and/or parent/guardian

Step 5: Details Required in the Application Form

Candidates must complete an application form and enter information about:

  • Personal Details: Name, parent/guardian details, date of birth, address permanent address, and Aadhaar number.
  • Academic Details: details relating to School attended from Class VI–XII, qualifying examination marks, no of attempts
  • NEET Details: roll number, register number, score, number of attempts, and other details.
  • Reservation details: religion, community, caste, nativity, and any other information relating to special category
  • Family & Financial Status: Parent’s occupation, annual income, native district, and if any, first graduate.
  • Files upload: NEET 2025 passport-size photograph, signature ( in running handwriting), and left and thumb impression in the prescribed format.

Step 6: Fee Payment

  • The application fee can be paid online through the Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking Facility, or UPI. 
  • Check the transaction has completed successfully, and download the payment receipt.

(Note: security deposit refund (if any) will be processed only after receiving the bank account entered in the application)

Step 7: Final Submission and Download

After completing all steps, candidates must:

  • Review their application carefully.
  • Click on Final Submit to complete registration.
  • Download and print the acknowledgment slip and filled-in form for reference during later stages of counselling.
