Tripura NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 Schedule

Tripura Medical Counselling Committee (TMCC) has announced the official schedule for Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 3, providing the last opportunity for eligible candidates to get admission to MBBS and BDS courses. As per the modified schedule, candidates can do new registration, payment, and final submission till 15th October 2025 (12 Noon), before which the registration unlocking facility will be active till 10:00 AM on that day.

For smooth participation, the candidates must remove any discrepancies by 15th October 2025 (5:00 PM). The choice filling will start from 13th October 2025 (5:00 PM) till 16th October 2025 (6:00 AM). During this period, the registered candidates can fill and lock their choices of colleges and courses online through the TMCC portal.

This round is most important for those candidates who neither got allotted a seat nor wish to upgrade their allotment. Tripura NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 Online Guidelines for MBBS, BDS

Directorate of Medical Education (DME), under the Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Tripura, has issued detailed guidelines for the Round 3 Online Counselling for MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, and BASLP courses for the academic year the session 2025-26. 

The counselling will be conducted by the Tripura Medical Counselling Committee (TMCC) through the official portal https://trmcc.admissions.nic.in. The guidelines provide transparency, and fairness in the allocation of seats process, in accordance with NMC/MCC and State Government norms. 

Counselling Process Overview:

Following the official declaration of NEET UG 2025 result, DME, Tripura will advertise a notification about counselling and registration will be opened on the TMCC portal. Seat allotment MBBS/BDS/BHMS/BAMS/BASLP will be based on the following: 

  • The Tripura State Merit List 
  • The Seat Matrix (following of Government-approved reservation norms) 
  • The Choices filled by candidates

Counselling Supervision

The Tripura State NEET UG Counselling Committee will supervise the counselling process for:

  • State Quota/Domicile seats in Tripura medical, dental, and AYUSH colleges.
  • 20 MBBS seats at Tripura Medical College (TMC) reserved for All India candidates (non-domicile).
  • 75 MBBS seats at Tripura Santiniketan Medical College (TSMC) reserved for All India candidates (non-domicile).

Eligibility Criteria

  • State Quota/Domicile Seats: Should be from Tripura.
  • All India Seats (Non-Domicile): As per Central Government and NMC norms, subject to State Government approval.
  • Candidates must be NEET UG 2025 qualified and meet Tripura domicile requirements for State Quota.

Important Guidelines

  • Registration can only be done online through the TMCC portal; offline applications are not accepted.
  • Original documents must be produced at the time of reporting; failure leads to cancellation of admission.
  • If a candidate surrenders a seat in one round, they cannot claim it in later rounds.
  • Candidates admitted in Round 1 or 2 can participate in Round 3 only if they surrender the earlier seat with a valid Surrender Certificate.

Security Deposit will be forfeited if a candidate:

  • Does not join the allotted college after seat allotment, or
  • Provides incorrect information, or
  • Fails to submit required documents at the time of admission.

Subsequent Rounds

  • Vacant seats after Round 1/2/3 will be carried forward to the next round or Stray Vacancy Round.
  • A Stray Vacancy Round may be conducted offline by TMCC or the admitting institutions if seats remain vacant after Round 3.
  • No AIQ seats will revert to the State quota.

A. The registration fee varies by category. For General and OBC-NCL (State Domicile) candidates, the fee is ₹2,500. For General-EWS (State Domicile) and OBC-NCL (Non-Domicile) candidates, the fee is ₹2,000. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, PwD, or other reserved categories must pay ₹1,800. The registration fee must be paid online during the registration process.

Q. What is the security deposit for Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 3, and how much is it?

A. The security deposit amount for Tripura NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 3 depends on the type of college and the category of the student. For Government Colleges, the security deposit is as follows: SC/ST candidates have to pay ₹5,000, and all other candidates have to pay ₹10,000. For Non-Government Colleges (and for candidates applying for both Government Colleges and Private Colleges) the security deposit is ₹1,00,000. The security deposit will only be forfeited if the candidate fails to join the allotted seat or provides false information.

Q. What is the process for allocating seats in Round 3 of NEET Counselling Tripura?

A. The allotment of seats will happen online, based on the NEET UG 2025 rank of the candidate, any order of preference they have filled in the choices period, and any allocated seats in the seat matrix approved by the Government of Tripura.

Q. If a candidate has received an allotment during Round 2 of Tripura NEET UG, can they participate in Round 3?

A. Any student receiving an allotment in Round 2, may participate in Round 3, only if the student considers (surrenders) his/her Round 2 allotment first as per time limits identified. Even a candidate joining a Round 2 allotment may be able to participate in Round 3 for an upgrade but candidates cannot resign to participate in Round 3 after they have taken the Round 2 allotment.

Q. Is it mandatory to collect the nomination letter physically?

A. It’s essential that the student physically collects their Nomination Letter from the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) in the office in Agartala before reporting to the college in order to complete their admission upon completion of each selection or option. Without the Nomination Letter, the chosen student will not go on with their admission.
