The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh has released a new time schedule for Round 2 of UP NEET UG Counselling 2025 that allows students the opportunity to get registered and upload documents. This notice will help those candidates who were unable to register or faced technical difficulties to register in the first instance.
Initially, the online registration and uploaded documents were supposed to be completed from 10th-15th September 2025 (5:00 PM), and the notice updates that students can now officially register and upload documents until 18th September 2025 (11:00 AM). This update allows more students to enter the counselling process, gain eligibility for choice filling, and provide a much better opportunity for them to secure a desired MBBS/BDS seat in the government or private medical colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

UP NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Revised Dates
As per the revised notification, the last date for online registration and document uploading has been extended until 18th September 2025 (11:00 AM), while the choice-filling window will now be open from 19th September 2025 (05:00 PM) to 23rd September 2025 (11:00 AM). The allotment result will be declared on 24th September 2025, and candidates must download their allotment letters and report for admission from 25th to 30th September 2025.
This revised schedule is important for students who missed deadlines earlier or need more time to prepare their documents and complete the registration process.

Who Are Eligible for UP NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2?
Round 2 UP NEET UG Counselling 2025 provides another opportunity to candidates who either did not participate in Round 1 or wish to upgrade their seat. The following candidates are entitled to participation:
New Candidates Who Did Not Register in Round 1
- Candidates who did not register or upload documents in Round 1 shall be allowed new registration during the Round 2 registration period (10th – 18th September 2025).
- They will have to register, upload the documents and pay the required security money to be eligible for choice filling.
Candidates Who Registered & Were Not Allotted Any Seat Out of Round 1
- Candidates who registered in Round 1 and filled their choices but were not allotted any seats will be able to participate in Round 2 choice filling without registering again (provided that the candidates’ documents were already verified).
Candidates Who Did Not Join a College After Being Allotted a Seat in Round 1
- Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 and did not report / join a college before the due date can again participate in Round 2 after paying the required security money.
Candidates Who Joined a College After Round 1 but Wish to Upgrade Their Seat
- Candidates who have reported to the assigned college after Round 1, who wish to upgrade their seat, may participate in Round 2.
- Their previously allotted seat will be upgraded automatically if a higher preference is available. If no upgrade is allotted, they will retain their Round 1 seat.
Candidates Who Withdrew/Surrendered Their Seat Before the Deadline
- Those who surrendered their Round 1 seat within the specified timeline (without forfeiting the security deposit) can participate in Round 2 for a fresh allotment.
