OJEE Releases Round 1 Provisional Admission Schedule for MBBS/BDS

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has released the schedule and instructions for provisional admission of candidates allotted seats in the 1st Round of NEET UG 2026 counselling for MBBS and BDS courses. The notification, dated August 25, 2026, details the college-wise reporting schedule, admission requirements, fee structure and important instructions for candidates.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 are required to personally report at the OJEE Office, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar, on their scheduled date and time for provisional admission. They must carry their original certificates, mark sheets and other required documents along with a set of photocopies.

The provisional admission process will be conducted from August 28 to September 3, 2026, with reporting dates assigned according to the allotted college and course.

Freeze or Float Option Mandatory

Allotted candidates must exercise the Freeze or Float option through their login ID. Candidates opting for Freeze are required to bring the prescribed bond in the format available on the OJEE website.

Candidates must also pay the applicable admission fee either online through their login or through a demand draft in favour of “OJEE”, payable at Bhubaneswar. The candidate’s name, NEET application number and date of birth must be mentioned on the back of the demand draft.

Documents Required for Provisional Admission

Candidates reporting for provisional admission must carry:

  • Original certificates and mark sheets
  • One set of photocopies of the documents
  • Required affidavit
  • Nativity Certificate in original
  • College Leaving Certificate (CLC) in original
  • Other documents prescribed for admission

After payment of the prescribed fee and submission of the required original documents, candidates will receive a provisional admission letter from the OJEE Office along with acknowledgement of the documents submitted.

Candidates Should Not Report Directly to Allotted College

OJEE has specifically instructed candidates not to report at their allotted college at this stage. Candidates must first complete the provisional admission formalities at the OJEE Office, Gandamunda, Bhubaneswar, on their scheduled date and time.

After the final counselling process is completed, OJEE will forward the list of admitted candidates and admission fee details to the concerned institutions, which will then complete the final admission formalities.

Candidates who fail to follow the prescribed reporting and admission requirements will be treated as non-reported candidates, and their allotted seat may be cancelled. Such candidates may participate in Round 2 by filling fresh choices.

Odisha NEET UG 2026 Fee Structure

For Government Medical/Dental Colleges, the admission fee specified in the notification is ₹37,950 per annum. Additional fees prescribed by individual government colleges may also be applicable.

NRI candidates are required to pay four times the applicable fees in private colleges, as stated in the notification. The fee structure may also change if revised by a government order.
