Haryana NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Schedules

Haryana NEET UG Counselling will conduct Round 2 only for aspiring doctors in MBBS and BDS courses in Government, Government Aided and Private Medical & Dental Colleges of Haryana, the candidates only can avail of admissions related to Private / Minority Universities, admission to SGT University (Gurugram), Maharishi Markandeshwar University (Ambala) and Al-Falah University (Faridabad) for the session 2025-26.

Round 2 tentative schedule has been published by the Directorate of Medical Education & Research, Haryana. Candidates will need to register for fresh registration along with the submission of willingness to choose any college and seat through the official counselling portal: https://uhsrugcounselling.com, the fresh registration will be available for candidates from 11th September 2025-14th September 2025 from the official counselling portal till 11:59PM.

Eligible candidates for round 2 are as follows: 

  • Candidates who did not get seat allotted in the round 1.
  • Candidates who got seat allotted in round 1 but did not join.
  • Candidates who joined in round 1 but in round 2 wants to upgrade.
  • Candidates who have not registered before.

By the end of Round 2, which includes fresh registration, making fees payment, filling choices, seat allotment and reporting at allotted college etc., the majority of candidates would have had a chance to secure admission or re-allocate their offer if it is better than the previous committee, found the proportions of unclassified round 2 candidates dependant on the order of preference and ranking process.

At the conclusion of round 2 candidates should be fortunate enough to have some choice again in securing admission into a suitable college. Overall round 2 is the most optimum potential avenue to secure admission either into a preferred new college or re-allocated college.

Haryana NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Dates

Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2025 Round 2 has been officially announced by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana. The process includes fresh registration, choice filling, seat allotment, document verification, and reporting to the allotted college. Candidates must strictly follow the schedule as no requests for extension will be entertained. Below is the tentative schedule for Round 2 counselling:

Haryana NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Process

Fresh Registration:

  • Fresh candidates who did not register in Round-1 can register for Round-2 of counselling.
  • Candidates already registered in Round-1 do not need to register again.

Willingness for Upgradation:

  • Candidates who were allotted/joined seats in Round-1 must give their willingness online to upgrade in Round-2.
  • Without this option, they will not be eligible for Round-2.

Seat Retention and Upgradation:

  • Candidates who joined Round-1 seats retain the right to their allotted seat.
  • Seat change occurs only if upgraded to a preferred seat in Round-2.
  • Candidates who wish to upgrade must submit fresh choices in order of preference.

Security Deposit Requirement:

All candidates (already registered or fresh) opting for State Quota Seats in Government/Private Medical or Dental Colleges must deposit:

  • Rs.10,000 (Rs.5,000 for SC/SCD/BCA/BCB/EWS/PWBD of Haryana)
  • Candidates opting for State Quota/Management Quota in Private Medical/Dental Colleges including Private Universities must deposit ₹1,00,000.
  • Failure to deposit the security amount makes the candidate ineligible for Round-2.
  • Deposited security amount is adjusted in the tuition fee if the candidate joins the allotted seat.

Forfeiture and Refunds:

  • If allotted a seat but the candidate does not join, the security amount is forfeited.
  • Candidates can still participate in Round-3 after forfeiting previous security and depositing fresh security.
  • Security for candidates not allotted any seat is refunded after counselling.

Participation in Round-3:

  • Candidates who accept a round-2 seat are eligible for round-3.
  • Candidates who accepted a round-1 seat but did not participate in round-2 or resign can still participate in round-3 after payment of the security.
  • Candidates allotted/joined round-1 or round-2 seats under the All India Quota or any state quota up to round-3 cannot participate in stray/further rounds and must submit an undertaking. 
  • Freshly registered candidates in round-2 will not need to pay security to participate in round-3 as they have not been allotted. 

Exit and Forfeiture:

  • Candidates that retain their seat and do not wish to take an upgrade may exit with forfeiture of their security amount.
  • Candidates that provide incorrect registration information during the registration to cause the cancellation of seat will have to forfeit their security amount. 

Choice Filling:

  • Choice filling in round-1 is deemed to be null and void; choices must be submitted freshly for round-2.
