Punjab NEET Counselling 2025 for Round 3 is started for MBBS and BDS aspirants for accepting admissions in the state. Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) has issued the schedule for the 3rd online round of counselling to fill the vacant seats under NEET UG-2025. The registration for fresh candidates is started on the official website (www.bfuhs.ac.in.) of the university through online login from 3rd October to 5th October 2025 (up to 2:00 PM). Candidates, who have already registered during the Round 1 or Round 2, as per choices, are not required to fill up the form again.

Punjab NEET Counselling 2025 Round 3 – Eligibility

The 3rd Round of Punjab NEET Counselling 2025 enables participants to occupy vacant MBBS and BDS seats, but who is eligible to apply is strictly regulated. Participants must understand who may apply as a new application, who may not need to register, and who is eligible or not eligible for allotment of a seat.

1. Candidates Who Can Apply Afresh for Round 3

      These Candidates are required to pay the registration fee and security deposit at the time of submission of willingness: 

      • Candidates who are registering/application for the first-time. 
      • Candidates who not join the scheduled allotted seats (whether fresh allocation or upgraded) in Round 2. These candidates are to register as a new applicant and deposit the security amount agreeing to submit willingness and choices/preferences for Course, College, Quota as scheduled.

      2. Candidates Who Need Not Apply Afresh for Round 3

        • Candidates were already registered, but did not obtain a seat in Round 1 or Round 2 do not need to register again.
        • Candidates]who resigned or surrendered their allotted a seat in Round 1 under free exit and who do not hold any Round 1 seat. However, they are required to submit willingness along with the requisite security amount (equivalent to the penalty security) and complete their choices/preferences as scheduled.

        3. Candidates Eligible for Round 3 Seat Allotment

          Eligible candidates for seat allotment in Round 3 fall into the following groups:

          • Group I: Registered candidates who did not receive any seat allotment in Round 1 or Round 2.
          • Group II: Registered candidates who secured a seat in Round 2 but whose seat was cancelled during document verification at the time of admission. They will be considered for the next round of seat allotment, with a changed category if applicable, subject to seat availability.
          • Group III: Candidates who reported to their allotted institute during Round 2 and submitted willingness for upgradation in Round 3.
          • Group IV: Candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 2 but did not join or resigned and exited after forfeiture of fees.

          4. Candidates Not Eligible for Round 3 Seat Allotment

            • Candidates who have become non-eligible due to inadequate or incorrect documents as per the eligibility criteria.
            • Candidates who did not register in Round 1, Round 2, or Round 3.

Candidates who apply to take advantage of Punjab NEET Counselling Round 3, who were already registered, and did not receive a seat assignment in either Round 1 or Round 2 should not apply afresh. Candidates who voluntarily resigned or surrendered an assigned seat in Round 1, and exited Round 1 free of fee obligation also do not need to apply afresh but must submit their willingness along with the new security deposit while filling in their choice/preference selections.
