This is an important phase of counselling as a number of seats will become vacant with candidates’ withdrawals, previous candidates may not join, and candidates’ allotment reshuffled after the Round 1. It also presents aspirants with a golden opportunity to eventually secure admission in the top medical colleges of Uttarakhand.
Candidates who submitted and locked choices during the period of 10th September and 16th September 2021 are eligible to access their allotment status online through the released HNBUMU portal. The result will be based on a variety of things including the NEET 2025 rank, category reservation, eligibility, and the preferences submitted by candidates.
When the Round 2 result is announced, candidates must be cognizant of the next steps including downloading of the allotment letter, paying the given fee, and reporting to the allotted college in the time frame or risk losing their seat/offer. In this regard, cognizance should be taken at all stages to ensure that aspirants do not miss deadlines that may result in disqualification.
The Round 2 result is not only a part of the process but usually the decision for hundreds of students looking to study medicine in Uttarakhand. For some, it could be their last chance before the mop-up round, so this is a significant time.
