This is a important round of counselling for candidates who either did not get a seat in Round 1 or 2, decided to upgrade their seat allocation, or are participating in the counselling process during Round 3 for the first time.

According to the official schedule, registration and payment for Round 3 will take place from September 29th, 2025 to October 5th, 2025 (by 12:00 noon server time). However, candidates should note that payment will still be open until 3:00 PM on October 5th, 2025. Candidates need to finish their registration, choice filling and any fee payment prior to this time period in order to ensure they are eligibile for Round 3.
Once the seat allotments are published each candidate must report to their respective medical college from October 9th – October 17th, 2025 to complete admission formalities such as document verifications, second payment of the fee and joining, etc.

MCC NEET Counselling 2025 – Round 3 Process
- Fresh Registration and Choice Filling
- All candidates will have to register anew and fill choices afresh for Round 3.
- Choices entered in Round 2 will be disregarded and not considered.
- Seat Allotment in Round 3
- The merit position and candidate preferences will be used to determine seat allotment.
- If no seat is allotted then candidate remains eligible for the Stray Vacancy Round.
- If a seat is allotted but the candidate does not join, then candidate faces exit with forfeiture of fees. Those candidates will be eliminated and will not be allowed to participate in additional counselling rounds.
- Joining the alloted seat
- After being assigned a seat, the candidate must join the assigned college and complete the admission process.
- If the candidate is assigned a seat in Round 2 and is upgraded to a Round 3 seat, the candidate must surrender the Round 2 seat and join the Round 3 seat.
- Final admission in Round 3
- After joining the allotted seat, the candidate cannot resign or upgade.
