Odisha NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Schedule Revised

Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) has released the revised Round 1 counselling schedule for admission to MBBS and BDS courses under State Quota seats for 2026. The revision has been made following changes in the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) counselling schedule for All India Quota seats.

The revised schedule applies to candidates who have already registered and are included in the State Merit List. Candidates are advised to follow the updated dates for choice filling, provisional allotment, admission and reporting.

Odisha NEET UG Counselling 2026 Revised Round 1 Schedule

Choice Filling Begins for State Merit Candidates

Eligible candidates included in the Odisha State Merit List can participate in the revised Round 1 counselling process by filling their preferred choices within the specified window. The choice filling facility opened on August 14, 2026, at 8:30 PM and will remain available until August 18, 2026, at 6:05 PM.

Candidates should carefully select and submit their preferred MBBS and BDS courses and colleges within the given timeline.

Round 1 Seat Allotment

After reconciliation of the counselling data on August 19, 2026, the Round 1 provisional seat allotment will be published on August 20, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

Candidates will have the opportunity to raise queries, if any, related to the provisional allotment on August 21, 2026, at 2:00 PM.

The Round 1 allotment result and allotment letter will be published on August 22, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Candidates should download their allotment letters and follow the instructions provided for admission.

Reporting and Provisional Admission

Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 will have to complete provisional admission by paying the prescribed admission fees and reporting to the OJEE Cell, Gandamunda, with their original documents and signed bond.

The reporting and admission window is scheduled from August 24 to 29, 2026.

The notification further states that the college-wise reporting schedule and necessary instructions will be notified separately in due course. Candidates should follow the instructions before proceeding with the registration and reporting process.

Important Note

The revised schedule has been issued due to the modification in the MCC counselling schedule for All India Quota seats. OJEE has stated that other activities will continue as per the tentative schedule published for State Quota counselling and admission, unless otherwise revised through a subsequent notification.
